See the snow on the mountains? Thankfully, that's all the snow I can see from our neighborhood. So glad it did manage to get (somewhat) warm this week!

Look! The sun! And it melted some of the ice off the roads today...

We really had snow overnight. This is the back of our house. And a reminder that I need to clear off branches that land on the roof.

It wasn't much, but then again, I'm not ready for a lot of snow.

Lots of fog.

That has been the question most of the summer. On the left, we have mostly sunny skies. On the right, mostly cloudy.

And very little rain.

We had a pretty rough rainfall tonight, and I managed to capture the water gushing out of the downspout next to our carport (because there was no way I was walking out into the rain.)

I caught the sun poking through the fog and clouds this morning, as I sat at a stop light. I liked the power lines, so I didn't cut those out. And I'm sure the people coming to a stop thought I was crazy with my camera out my window. :)

This was a rare moment this week - when the sun was shining and we could see white, fluffy clouds (minus the gray and the rain we've seen a lot of.)


An hour later, the sky opened up and it poured.

We're entering Memorial Day weekend with some crazy thunderstorms. Luckily, it's supposed to clear up tomorrow.
