Sophie isn't a fan of running. Here she is, at the end of a walk when my brother tried to get her to jog to the house.

Veterans Day

I love having our house and being able to put our flag out on days like today.


We also had family photos taken today. We stumbled across these guys at the lake.


All in all, a very good day.

I hosted a Stampin' Up party tonight, and this is what we made.

I can't wait to get my new stamps in!

silent auction goods

My husband and I attended a dinner this evening benefiting a friend's non-profit group. There was a silent auction, and while my husband didn't win the Highland Brewing package (it involved a tour of the brewery for 8 people - and beer), I was the only high bidder on this piece of pottery.

Major score for $30.

first snow

Today we had our first snow of the season.

It wasn't much, but then again, I'm not ready for a lot of snow.
